The “Out to Sea? Plastic Garbage Project" exhibition presents a confronting reality of the social consequences of plastic waste. During the last century, plastic has rapidly replaced many materials because it is cheap and easy to use, but it also has many disadvantages: it is difficult to recycle and as standard not biodegradable.
Under the motto "reduce, reuse, recycle", the exhibition explores possible solutions to make the oceans plastic-free – now and in the future. The exhibition "Out to Sea? Plastic Garbage Project" is part of « Arnhem Plasticvrij? », an initiative of the municipality of Arnhem, De Groene Vos, Rozet and Lions Club Arnhem.
